Bolt locks when active door is closed. Opening active door retracts top and bottom bolts. Override feature prevent damage to doors or bolts if bolt heads are blocked from entering strikes.
Flush door bolt is used to hold a door in place. They rest at the bottom or top of a door frame and slide into the floor or ceiling, keeping the door stationary until moved. Recommended to use a dust cover (dust proof socket) to avoid any material from entering the bolts path. Flushed lever bolt inserted into the door and frame.
