How to Sow Melampodium:

• Best sown indoors at alternating temperatures of 68 and 86°
• Seeds will germinate in 10-15 days
• Sow at a depth of 4 times the diameter of the seeds
• If sown outdoors, wait until spring after all danger of frost is past
• Soil temperature should be warm
• Indoor or out, flowers will appear in 55-60 days after sowing
• If sowing seed outdoors, we recommend a maximum planting depth of 4X the width of the seed

How to Grow Melampodium

• Transplanting: After 4-5 weeks, transplant when there are at least two sets of true leaves
• Spacing: Space seedlings 6-8 inches apart in full sun
• Soil: Soil should be moderately fertile, moist, but well-drained
• Temperature: Plants are tolerant of heat and high humidity
