National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT) is a U.S. standard for tapered threads used on threaded pipes and fittings. In contrast to straight threads that are found on a bolt, a taper thread will pull tight and therefore make a fluid-tight seal.
Type F Stainless steel camlock adaptors – male adaptor by male thread, fit into any female couplers including Type C, D, B & DC (Dust Cap). Quick hose camlock coupling can finish sealing in a snap without any requirement of tools. Stretch the arms of the coupler, and then insert the adapter into the coupler until contact with the gasket. The whole process of cam & groove connection will last several seconds.
